Kim Giangrande: strategic human resources expert

Kim is a Strategic Human Resource professional with extensive experience kim-photodeveloping Human Resource infrastructure, from the foundational level, that supports the strategic direction of the organization. She has a strong ability to effectively balance corporate goals with the needs of the employee to create programs that ensure strong results and commitment to employee engagement.

Kim has been responsible for the implementation of many programs, policies, procedures, and automation to support basic administration, legal compliance and overall talent management strategy. She possesses more than 10 years of Senior Level HR experience working with Boards of Directors and participating as a full member of the Executive Teams at her previous employers. She spent seven years with Hasler Inc. & Mailroom Services Inc., leading providers of high end mailing systems equipment managing a U.S. employee population of approximately 1,500 with over 30 offices. In her tenure there, she won the respect of many employees and key leaders through the development of a total HR infrastructure that provided a strong foundation for managing the employee relationship and provided opportunity for reward and recognition.

In recent years, she worked as VP Global HR for Survey Sampling International, creating their global HR infrastructure and working with the Board of Directors to implement a comprehensive foundation for HR services.

Kim specialized in leadership development. Her insights and intuition made her a well respected and sought out coach to many leaders and key employees within the organizations in which she worked. She brings great instincts and a solid value system to the table offering her clients the opportunity to do things right and effectively within budget.

Credentials
Kim holds both a Master’s of Science in Management and MBA from Albertus Magnus College. Her undergraduate degree is a double major in Health Care Management in Human Resource Management.

She holds the distinguished dual certifications of Senior Professional in Human Resources and Global Professional Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute. These certifications demonstrate both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in both strategic and international HR, demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field. Kim is one of eight professionals in the state of CT to hold this dual professional status.
